Sahyadri Roadmap
The path from genesis to a fully decentralized, production-grade Layer 1 protocol.
Foundation
Protocol specification finalized. Sahyadri Core node built in Rust with SahyadriX PoW, Blake3 hashing, Account + Object model, and SahyadriDAG consensus engine. Genesis parameters and native Web5 DID primitives defined to anchor decentralized identities directly on Layer-1.

- SahyadriX PoW & SahyadriDAG consensus
- Account + Object State Model
- Web5 Decentralized Identity (DID) Registry
- Bech32m address encoding (csm1s...)
Test Network
Internal testnet deployed for stress-testing the protocol under real mining conditions. Mining software tested across multiple nodes to verify block propagation, finality guarantees, and network resilience. Explorer and wallet interfaces enter alpha testing.

Mainnet Launch
Mainnet goes live with genesis block. Mining distribution begins — participants start securing the network through SahyadriX PoW. Block Explorer and Web Wallet enter production. Network monitoring dashboards track hashrate, block times, and node count in real time.

- Zero-Knowledge Proof of Identity (ZK-VCs)
- Decentralized Web Node (DWN) Gateways
- Global sovereign node distribution
Protocol Specifications
Sahyadri is designed with fixed, deterministic parameters from genesis. No governance overrides, no admin keys. Every rule — from the 21M CSM hard cap to the native Web5 Identity anchoring — is encoded in the protocol and enforced by consensus.
SahyadriDAG Consensus
Unlike linear blockchains where blocks form a single chain, Sahyadri uses a Directed Acyclic Graph structure. This allows parallel block construction, resolving conflicts through a deterministic ordering algorithm without sacrificing security or finality guarantees.
SahyadriX Proof of Work
SahyadriX PoW combines the efficiency of Blake3 hashing with a memory-hard sequential loop, creating a mining algorithm that resists ASIC dominance while maintaining high throughput. Miners compete to solve cryptographic puzzles, and the first valid solution propagates through the network within seconds.
Economic Model
Sahyadri follows a fixed-supply monetary policy. The total supply is capped at 21 million CSM, distributed through mining rewards that follow a deterministic halving schedule. No premine, no founder allocation, no inflation beyond the protocol rules.
Why Proof of Work
PoW is the only consensus mechanism with a proven track record of securing decentralized networks over decades. It provides economic finality through energy expenditure — making attacks exponentially expensive as the network grows. Sahyadri chose PoW because it eliminates trust assumptions and ensures that network security is backed by real, measurable work.
Build the future with Sahyadri
Every phase is shaped by community participation. Whether you mine, run nodes, develop tools, or spread awareness — your contribution moves the protocol forward.
